Padshop 2 builds synth sounds from samples, your own or its factory set, with two engines side by side. The granular engine breaks a sample into grains to edit and morph, while the Spectral Oscillator plays it at any speed, position and pitch, in either direction. An arpeggiator, filters, modulation and per-layer effects then shape the raw material into pads, dark cinematic textures and sounds for film and TV. Account sign-up, installer download, activation and registration need an internet connection, and Padshop 2 expansions are sold separately.
