Overview
HALion 7 for students and teachers.
HALion 7 Education is the student and teacher licence of Steinberg's sample and synthesis platform, and proof of eligibility is required to buy it. Version 7 brought FM and spectral synthesis, a reworked modulation system and two new instruments, FM Lab and Tales, to an engine that already combined sampling with wavetable, granular and virtual analogue synthesis. Account sign-up, product registration, licence activation and the installer download all need an internet connection.
