Requires an existing Cubase AI 12, 13, 14 or 15 licence. The Cubase Artist 15 upgrade from Cubase AI is for owners of a qualifying Cubase AI licence, the compact edition supplied with selected Yamaha hardware. Cubase AI 15 caps a project at 32 audio, 48 MIDI and 16 instrument tracks; Artist removes those limits and adds side-chaining. Record several takes and comp the best parts, tighten their timing with Audio Warp Quantize, then correct pitch with VariAudio 3. Licences run through a Steinberg account and need an internet connection once to activate.
