Backbone.
A drum resynthesiser that splits hits into tone and noise.
£125

Overview
Drums rebuilt from the inside.
Backbone treats a drum sample as raw material rather than a finished sound. It can split any sample into tonal and noise parts and resynthesise them, so you can pitch the body of a kick while its noisy attack stays put, or freeze a moment and hold it like an oscillator. It stacks up to eight layers and runs up to eight effects across two fully routable buses, and Sony CSL’s DrumGAN generates fresh kicks, snares and cymbals to start from. Finished hits drag straight into your DAW as audio.
