The Sculpture.
One metal sculpture sampled in depth and turned into a playable cinematic instrument

Overview
Bowed and struck metal tones.
The Sculpture turns a single multi cut metal sound sculpture by Klaus Gündchen into a playable Kontakt Player instrument. Four microphone perspectives cover close, far, contact and an internal Blumlein pair, and they blend so the tone moves from tight and immediate to wide and spacious. Mallet hits, rolls, bowed tones, rubberball techniques and extended FX textures sit across plates and rods. A Single instrument gives direct response for sparse cues, while the five layer Engine adds two freely playable voices, two arpeggiators, one granular voice, slot effects and master effects.
