Overview
The solo voice as atmosphere.
Voices of Passion samples five solo female singers from Wales, Syria, India, Bulgaria and America, each singing in the style of her own tradition. It works in two main ways, which combine freely: trigger more than 1,000 recorded phrases and let the singer’s own ornament and vibrato carry the line, or write your own melody on the true-legato vowels of the American and Welsh voices. EastWest made it for film and game scores and for New Age music.
