Overview
Clean was never the point.
The Dark Side is a 40 GB library of drums, basses, guitars, keys, strings, choirs and strange percussion, nearly all of it recorded through vintage analogue and tube effect chains, so the grit is part of the sample. Producers Doug Rogers and David Fridmann built it for metal, industrial and hybrid orchestral writing, and for film, TV and game cues. It plays in EastWest's Opus software, included with the licence; Opus adds its own mixer effects and MIDI tools on top.
