Overview
Room for a few jazzy ornaments.
Pianos Platinum Yamaha C7 is the Yamaha grand from EastWest's four-piano Pianos collection, played in EastWest's Opus software. EastWest describes a beautiful mid-range topped by a light high-end twinkle, with a mix of smoothness and character that suits blues, folk, stride and ragtime as well as orchestral writing. Load only the microphone positions you need, mix them, and use the simulated lid damping to shape how open the piano sounds.
Highlights
Three microphone positions; load only the ones you want
Close microphone recordings engineered by Ken Scott
Vintage Neumann microphones, Meitner converters and a Neve 8078 console
