Pianos Platinum Steinway D.

Pianos Platinum Steinway D gives you the bright, regal concert grand of EastWest's four-piano collection without the other three. Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix produced the collection. It was recorded through vintage Neumann microphones, Meitner converters and a Neve 8078 desk, with Ken Scott engineering the close mics. You mix three mic positions and load only the ones a cue needs, which keeps roughly 60 GB of samples manageable. Its ambience shares the impulse responses of Symphonic Orchestra and Symphonic Choirs, so it blends easily with both.
