Hollywood Strings 2 brings a 21-player string section, miked close in EastWest's Studio 2, to owners of the Studio 1 orchestra in Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition. Three close positions, including mics on the instruments themselves, sit beside main, mid-field and surround mics, so a line can stay dry and upfront or open into the room. Movie Mixes load finished balances, including a Cinematic Mix made to sit with the original Hollywood Strings. Activation needs a registered Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition licence, and the library needs the Opus engine 1.5.0 or later.
