Hollywood Pop Brass.

Hollywood Pop Brass gives pop, funk, soul and Latin producers a horn section to play from the keyboard. Its articulations come from a quartet recorded in Studio One at EastWest Studios: two trumpets, a trombone and a saxophone that shifts from baritone through tenor to alto across the range. A five-piece group recorded the phrases and licks in Studio Two; the phrases are mapped in several keys and the mod wheel picks each lick's chord, so a part can be written note by note or built from real performances.
