Melodyne 5 assistant gives vocal editing the full Melodyne toolkit. Beyond correcting pitch and timing, you can shape vibrato, pitch drift, formants, fades and sibilants note by note, and even the timing inside a note and the transition to the next. Inspectors take exact values without a change of tool, and audio-to-MIDI export lets a synth double the line. It handles lead vocals, monophonic instruments and drums; editing notes within chords needs the editor or studio edition.
