Verberate Immersive 2 carries the Vivid Hall engine of Verberate 2 into surround and Dolby Atmos. That algorithm is time-variant, so its tails stay free of resonances and metallic colouring. Early reflections and the tail are separate processors, and each, like the dry signal, has its own panner and divergence control, so source, first reflections and decay can occupy different parts of the sound field. Being algorithmic rather than convolution-based, it stays light enough to run many instances in large film, TV, game and Atmos music sessions.
