Newfangled Audio's Fixate:Midrange gives six common midrange faults a dynamic processor each: mud, thinness, honk, nasal tone, harshness and uneven spectral balance. It measures energy in critical bands against their neighbours, as the ear does, and corrects only while a fault is present. Press Analyze, then Fix, or work the knobs with visual hints marking the trouble spots, while the Balance section refines tone without losing the mix's character.
