Thesys is a step-based MIDI sequencer for writing melodies, basslines and rhythmic patterns. A 32-step grid spreads across 18 lanes and five independent sequencers, each with its own loop length, plus a pitch recorder and a pattern sequencer for longer passages. Patterns can be triggered and reshaped live from a keyboard, with a big randomizer, an internal synth and drag-and-drop MIDI export.
