Overview
The circuit now, the tubes later.
FreqTube FT1-EMU models the analogue path of Freqport's FT1 tube processor component by component, from a SPICE reference of its circuit, so it runs inside your DAW without hardware. Drive, harmonics, two multi-mode filters and a choice of E83CC and 12AT7 tubes shape the colour on tracks and buses. Connect an FT1, sold separately, and the same plugin switches to its real tubes in the same session; hardware mode needs real-time bouncing. Registered FT1 owners get a complimentary FT1-EMU licence in FreqPortal, and a free trial is available.
