Addictive Drums 2: Vintage Dead.
Deadened vintage Ludwig drum expansion for beats.
£65
Overview
Recorded dead, so you choose the room.
Vintage Dead is an ADpak for Addictive Drums 2, built around a vintage Ludwig Blue Oyster kit that Swedish drummer Miikal Häggström rescued from a skip and restored. With the resonant heads off its toms and every drum dampened, XLN Audio recorded it with close and overhead mics inside a near-anechoic box at Stockholm's Ingrid Studios. The room mics stayed outside, so ambience is optional and the close sound stands up to heavy processing for beats, indie and rock. It requires Addictive Drums 2, which is not included.
Highlights
Near-anechoic dead box, with room mics outside to blend in
Every drum dampened with towels, blankets, tape and moon gel

Production-ready presets as instant starting points
Requires Addictive Drums 2, which is not included
