Addictive Drums 2: Reel Machines ADpak.
An expansion of five '80s drum machines recorded to tape.
£65
Overview
Eighties machines, warmed on tape.
Reel Machines adds five classic '80s electronic kits to Addictive Drums 2: the LinnDrum, the Oberheim DMX, Roland's TR-808 and TR-909, and a Simmons SDS-V. XLN Audio tracked mint-condition units via Neve 1073 preamps to a half-inch Ampex machine with heavy saturation, and the kick and snare mic balance controls let you blend that tape colour against the clean signal. A Stocktronics plate and real room sound turn a dry machine into a big space. It is an expansion and requires Addictive Drums 2.
