Pastel Punch XO Expansion.
Rachel K Collier's punchy house grooves for XO.
£29
Overview
Starter beats you can pull apart.
Pastel Punch is an artist expansion for XLN Audio's XO, built from Rachel K Collier's house-based signature sound and aimed at poppy club tracks. Its grooves arrive complete, with a gritty, organic edge. Play the presets as they are, or use them as starting points: rework the patterns in XO's sequencer and swap any sound in a click. The toms in the Wonky Woo preset, for instance, could just as well become synth stabs. It needs XO, which is sold separately.
Highlights
39 beat presets, fully editable in XO's sequencer
155 one-shot samples hand-picked by the artist
House grooves anchored by heavy kicks and snares
Distorted organic percussion and quirky one-shots for grit
Vocal samples built into the finished grooves
Requires XO by XLN Audio, sold separately
