Addictive Drums 2: Modern Jazz Brushes ADpak.
A brushed jazz kit with smooth RealSweep snare sweeps.
£65
Overview
Swing at a whisper.
Modern Jazz Brushes is an Addictive Drums 2 expansion recorded on a discontinued, UK-built Premier Gen-X kit with birch and maple hybrid shells, tuned up for modern jazz and played with brushes. XLN's RealSweep technology gives it realistic brushed snare sweeps for styles from cool jazz to bebop, and production presets get you started. It needs Addictive Drums 2 and has no MIDI grooves of its own; XLN's companion Jazz Grooves: Brushes MIDIpak is sold separately.
Highlights
18x14-inch Premier Gen-X kick, played with a soft beater
RealSweep snare sweeps, with accents where you want them
14x5-inch Ludwig Acrolite snare and four Premier Gen-X toms
Sabian HHX hats, three crashes and a 21-inch Byzance ride
Meinl Single Chrome tambourine included with the kit
Recorded at Soundtrade, Stockholm's oldest surviving studio
