Overview
Found sound, turned into rhythm.
Life analyses any recording, from a phone field recording to audio captured in your DAW, cuts it into one-shot slices and sequences a selection of them across four lanes as a beat. Hit Randomize or Browse until a groove fits, then refine it with macros or reprogram each lane on the Edit page. Recordings from the Life Field Recorder app sync to your computer through included cloud storage. For producers and songwriters, Life is a quick source of percussion layers and rhythmic ideas.
