Addictive Keys: Electric Grand.

Electric Grand brings the CP-80, an electro-acoustic grand built from the late 1970s into the mid-1980s, into the Addictive Keys engine. Like an acoustic grand it has hammers and strings, but pickups under the strings feed an amplifier, much as on an electric guitar, so XLN Audio recorded all three: the bare strings, the line output and a miked tube combo. Balance those sources, shape the modelled tremolo and tone, or start from a preset, for parts that sit in indie rock, pop, house or an R'n'B ballad. An internet connection is needed during installation.
