Old-school soul, modern pocket.

Virtual Drummer DEEP plays soul and funk grooves for you: pick a style, then trigger intros, verses, choruses, fills and breakdowns from MIDI keys rather than programming hits. Its five kits were recorded through vintage and modern direct mics with stereo overhead and room pairs, and Grit morphs any of them towards a rougher, retro sound. Each style is made to pair with the same-named style in Virtual Bassist DANDY, sold separately. Beyond soul and funk, DEEP is at home under pop, rock and alternative songs.
