Virtual Bassist MELLOW 2.
An upright bass session player for jazz, R&B and hip hop.
Overview
The upright that knows the changes.
MELLOW 2 puts a sampled acoustic double bass in the hands of a virtual session player. In Player Mode you set the key and the song's chords, trigger phrases and let it choose the articulations; Instrument Mode hands the fretboard to your MIDI keyboard, slides and dead notes included. It works as a quiet foundation beneath a jazz trio or a strong second voice in hip hop, R&B and singer-songwriter tracks, with room reverb, octave, vibrato, EQ and dynamics to shape the tone.
