The SILK 2 Upgrade requires a SILK 1 licence and moves its owners to the second-generation Virtual Guitarist nylon player, rebuilt on a new engine and guitar model. Hold a chord and Player mode turns it into a realistic performance with no guitar skills needed, using newly written styles, and its phrases can be dragged into your DAW as MIDI. Instrument mode, new to this generation, puts individual notes and articulations under your own control.
