This upgrade moves a permanent Sonarworks Reference 3 or 4 Studio Edition licence to SoundID Reference for Speakers & Headphones, the successor software that calibrates speakers and headphones in a DAW or system-wide. Existing profiles keep working, and Translation Check and real-time Custom Target curves are new. It is download only. Speaker measurement uses a SoundID Reference or XREF 20 microphone, so an XREF 20 you own still serves. Calibration covers stereo speakers; multichannel setups are a separate product. The licence activates on three devices and needs an internet connection.
