This upgrade turns a permanent SoundID Reference for Speakers & Headphones licence into SoundID Reference for Multichannel, and your existing profiles carry over. A guided measurement maps every speaker in layouts up to 9.1.6, and phase-based alignment brings the satellites and LFE into time. Pick a flat, Dolby Atmos Music or custom target, then correct in the multichannel DAW plugin or export the profile to supported hardware. System-wide correction stays stereo, and Sonarworks specifies a SoundID Reference or XREF 20 microphone for measuring.
