Relab 176 is a circuit-level recreation of a 1960s variable-gain tube limiting amplifier, the tube forerunner of the solid-state 1176. Every tube, transformer, timing network and power-supply interaction is solved in real time to preserve the original tone and dynamics. It offers four fixed ratios with program-dependent knee and timing.
