RealEight 6 puts an 8-string electric guitar on your keyboard, sampled fret by fret from the pickups of a custom handmade instrument, so its dry tone suits the amp simulator you prefer. Version 6 runs your own VST3 amp plug-in within the instrument, bundles the open-source Guitarix with over 200 presets, and recalls guitar and amp together. Play it live, program it in your DAW, or arrange whole parts in Song mode from chord symbols and rhythm patterns. It suits rock and metal writers who need extended-range guitar from MIDI.
