Pick a key and mode, then regenerate a single chord or set its type, extension and inversion by hand. Scenes keep separate ideas apart, Song Mode strings them into an arrangement, and you drag finished patterns onto a MIDI track. It suits producers who want a harmonic starting point without working out the theory first.
