Voxmotive is a playable vocal instrument for Audiomodern's free Soundbox engine, built from phrases sung by female vocalists. Soprano lines bring an airy, celestial quality, singers from world-music traditions add their own colour, and further sets cover ethereal and new age phrases. A separate effects section holds whispers, breaths, spoken words and other textures. The presets are fully unlocked, so Soundbox's modular effects, LFOs and vector engine can reshape any phrase for a film cue, an ambient bed or an electronic track.
