One installer per plugin

MUSE SESSIONS installation.

MUSE SESSIONS releases a separate installer for each plugin, so you only download the ones you bought. Set aside about ten minutes. You will need the activation code from your licence email.

How to install and activate

Add your plan to your account

    Create or sign in to your Muse account

    Muse plans attach to a Muse account, not to the app on your computer. Sign up on the Muse website, or sign in if you already have an account, using the email address you want the plan on.

    Redeem your code in your account settings

    Open your profile — the icon in the corner of the page — and go to your billing or subscription settings. Find the Redeem Code field, paste the code from this email exactly as it appears, and submit it. Your account moves to the plan you bought.

    TIPPaste rather than retype: the code must match this email exactly.

    Your activation code

    It is in your licence email, in the purple panel. Signed in? It is in your account too.

Install

    Download the Muse app and sign in

    Download the Muse desktop app for Mac or Windows from the download page and install it. Open it and sign in with the same account — your plan's features apply automatically.

    Bought Spark? Install the plug-in

    Spark is a separate plug-in. Download it from the Spark page, run the installer, load Spark in your music program and sign in with the same Muse account.

A session code that someone sends you to join their live room is not a licence code — paste that into Join Session on the app's main screen instead.

If something goes wrong

My code is not accepted

Codes are entered exactly as sent — paste rather than retype, and keep or drop dashes exactly as the steps say. Still stuck? Contact us with your order number and we will sort it, usually the same day.

The plug-in does not show up in my music program

Check you installed the format your program uses and rescan its plug-in folders. The MUSE SESSIONS help pages cover each program's scan settings.

I bought this but have no email

Check spam first — licence emails arrive within minutes of payment. Nothing there? Contact us and we will resend it.

I bought several products

Each product has its own installer, and codes only unlock the product they were issued for — work down your order one at a time.
