One installer per plugin

MQA Labs installation.

MQA Labs releases a separate installer for each plugin, so you only download the ones you bought. Set aside about ten minutes. You will need the activation code from your licence email.

How to install and activate

Register your licence

    Create your MQA Labs account with your activation code

    Go to MQA Labs' reseller registration page — it is written for people who bought from a reseller like us. Paste the activation code from your licence email into the Activation Code box, enter your email address and choose a password (at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a number and a symbol such as !@#$%), tick the Terms and Conditions box and press Create your account.

    TIPThe Activation Code box is the one that says 'Enter the code from your authorised reseller'. Already have an MQA Labs account from a trial? Use the 'login here' link on that page instead and sign in with it.

    Get an iLok account, the iLok License Manager and an iLok USB key

    Endura and Inspira are licensed through iLok and can only be activated onto a physical iLok USB key (2nd generation or newer) — not onto your computer. If you do not already have them: create a free iLok account at ilok.com, download and install the iLok License Manager app from the same site, and plug your iLok USB key into the computer.

    TIPThe iLok USB key is sold separately by iLok. Without one the plug-in cannot be activated, so make sure you have it before going further.

    iLok License Manager opens, you are signed in, and your iLok USB key appears in the list on the left.

    Activate the licence onto your iLok USB key

    Open the iLok activation instructions in your MQA Labs account and follow them in iLok License Manager with your USB key plugged in. The licence is placed in your iLok account and then activated onto the key — the key is what the plug-in checks each time it opens.

    TIPThe activation code you used on MQA Labs' website is not the licence itself — the licence appears in iLok License Manager once MQA Labs' instructions are complete.

Install your plug-in

    Download the installer from your MQA Labs account

    Sign in to mqalabs.com and open your downloads. Download the installer for the plug-in you bought — Endura or Inspira — for your computer, Mac or Windows.

    TIPThe installer is the same one the 7-day trial uses. Your iLok licence is what turns it into the full version.

    Run the installer

    Open the file you downloaded and follow the prompts. On Mac it installs the VST3, AU and AAX versions; on Windows, VST3 and AAX. Say yes to what it suggests — the standard choices are right for almost everyone.

    TIPAdd AAX only if you use Pro Tools; the others are what Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Studio One and Reaper use.

    The installer has finished.

    Open the plug-in with your iLok USB key plugged in

    Load Endura or Inspira in the music program you use — Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Cubase, any of them. With the iLok USB key plugged in, the plug-in finds its licence and opens as the full version. If it asks you to sign in to iLok, use your iLok User ID and password.

    TIPKeep the iLok USB key plugged in whenever you use the plug-in — the licence lives on the key, not on the computer.

    CHECKPOINT

    The plug-in opens without a trial notice or an activation prompt. You are done.

A physical iLok USB key (2nd generation or above) is required for both Endura and Inspira; MQA Labs does not offer activation to a computer or to iLok Cloud. Endura and Inspira are separate products with separate activation codes — register each one. If you have already run the 7-day trial, you may already have an MQA Labs account and an iLok account; use those rather than creating new ones.

If something goes wrong

My code is not accepted

Codes are entered exactly as sent — paste rather than retype, and keep or drop dashes exactly as the steps say. Still stuck? Contact us with your order number and we will sort it, usually the same day.

The plug-in does not show up in my music program

Check you installed the format your program uses and rescan its plug-in folders. The MQA Labs help pages cover each program's scan settings.

I bought this but have no email

Check spam first — licence emails arrive within minutes of payment. Nothing there? Contact us and we will resend it.

Each product has its own installer, and codes only unlock the product they were issued for — work down your order one at a time.
