One installer per plugin

LANDR installation.

LANDR releases a separate installer for each plugin, so you only download the ones you bought. Set aside about ten minutes. You will need the activation code from your licence email.

How to install and activate

Add your purchase to your LANDR account

    Find your redeem code

    It is near the top of your licence email. This code is your proof of purchase — LANDR swaps it for the installers and licence keys of what you bought. It is not the licence key itself; that comes in Part 3.

    Your activation code

    It is in your licence email, in the purple panel. Signed in? It is in your account too.

    Go to redeem.landr.com and sign in

    The page opens LANDR's app and asks you to log in. Never had a LANDR account? Create one — it is free, and you need it: your installers and licence keys will live in it. A “Redeem” window then appears. If it does not, click your avatar in the top right, choose My Plugins, then + Redeem Product.

    Paste your redeem code and confirm

    Paste the code from Part 1 into the box and confirm. Your product now appears on your My Plugins page.

    TIPIf it is refused, check the code was copied exactly, with nothing missing from either end, and that it is the code for this product. Still stuck? LANDR support can look it up.

Install and unlock

    Download the installer for each plug-in you bought

    On My Plugins, click a plug-in, then download the installer for your computer — Mac or Windows. Every LANDR FX plug-in has its own installer, so repeat this for each plug-in your purchase includes.

    Run each installer

    Double-click the installer you downloaded and follow the prompts. Say yes to what it suggests — the standard choices are right for almost everyone.

    The installer finished. The plug-in is on your computer, waiting for its key.

    Open the plug-in and enter its licence key

    Open the plug-in in the music program you use — Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Pro Tools, any of them. It asks for a licence key: copy the key shown for that plug-in on your My Plugins page and paste it in. This key is a different thing from the redeem code in Part 1 — the redeem code will not work here.

    TIPEach plug-in has its own key, so match them up carefully. LANDR FX plug-ins can be used on up to two computers — repeat this step on your second machine.

    CHECKPOINT

    The plug-in opens without asking for a key again — that is it. Enjoy.

Bundles (FX Suite, Vocal Plugin Bundle, Super Bundle, Ultimate Bundle) and LANDR Studio subscriptions are redeemed with the same single code on the same page; afterwards everything the code covers is listed on My Plugins, and each plug-in is downloaded and unlocked separately with its own key. LANDR's other instruments and tools (Composer, Synth X, Sampler, Guitar, Mastering Plugin PRO and SE, Strata, Horizon, Retro, the Vox plug-ins) are redeemed the same way; their installers and keys are on My Plugins too, and LANDR's help centre has a separate install and activate article for each of them. LANDR no longer uses iLok for new licences: nothing you buy here needs it.

If something goes wrong

My code is not accepted

Codes are entered exactly as sent — paste rather than retype, and keep or drop dashes exactly as the steps say. Still stuck? Contact us with your order number and we will sort it, usually the same day.

The plug-in does not show up in my music program

Check you installed the format your program uses and rescan its plug-in folders. The LANDR help pages cover each program's scan settings.

I bought this but have no email

Check spam first — licence emails arrive within minutes of payment. Nothing there? Contact us and we will resend it.

I bought several products

Each product has its own installer, and codes only unlock the product they were issued for — work down your order one at a time.
