KIT Plugins installation.

KIT Plugins releases a separate installer for each plugin, so you only download the ones you bought. Set aside about ten minutes. You will need the activation code from your licence email.

How to install and activate

Get ready

    Create a free iLok account and install iLok License Manager

    KIT Plugins licences live in an iLok account, not in the plug-in. If you don't have one, create a free iLok account and install the free iLok License Manager app. No USB key is needed — licences can sit in iLok Cloud or on this computer.

Get your licence

    Redeem your code at the KIT Plugins checkout

    On kitplugins.com open the page for the product you bought, click Add to cart, then View cart and Checkout. Enter the code from this email in the "Redemption, discount code or gift card" field and click Apply — the total drops to zero. Sign in to (or create) your KIT Plugins account and complete the order.

    It is in your licence email, in the purple panel. Signed in? It is in your account too.

    Enter your iLok User ID on the Order Status page

    When the order completes, the Order Status page asks for your iLok User ID. Enter it and click Submit — your licence is deposited straight into your iLok account.

    TIPClosed the page too soon? Your KIT Plugins order confirmation email has a link back to the Order Status page so you can finish this step.

    The licence appears in iLok License Manager under your account.

Install and activate

    Activate the licence in iLok License Manager

    Open iLok License Manager and sign in. Find the new licence under Available, then activate it to iLok Cloud, an iLok USB key, or this computer.

    Download and install the plug-in

    Sign in to your KIT Plugins account, open the Downloads page, download the installer for your system and run it. Then restart your music program so it rescans for new plug-ins.

    Repeat for each product you bought

    Each product on your order has its own code and its own installer, so redeem and install them one at a time.

If something goes wrong

My code is not accepted

Codes are entered exactly as sent — paste rather than retype, and keep or drop dashes exactly as the steps say. Still stuck? Contact us with your order number and we will sort it, usually the same day.

The plug-in does not show up in my music program

Check you installed the format your program uses and rescan its plug-in folders. The KIT Plugins help pages cover each program's scan settings.

I bought this but have no email

Check spam first — licence emails arrive within minutes of payment. Nothing there? Contact us and we will resend it.

I bought several products

Each product has its own installer, and codes only unlock the product they were issued for — work down your order one at a time.
