Acon Digital installation.

Acon Digital releases a separate installer for each plugin, so you only download the ones you bought. Set aside about ten minutes. You will need the activation code from your licence email.

How to install and activate

Turn your code into a licence key

    Open the Acon Digital redeem page and create a free account

    Go to acondigital.com/redeem. It walks you through four numbered steps. In step 2 it asks whether you already have an Acon Digital account: click Sign Up if you do not — it only needs your name, email and a password — or Login if you do. Use an email address you actually check.

    Go to My Account, choose Redeem Code and enter your code

    Once logged in, open My Account and pick Redeem Code (the redeem page's step 3 has a Go to My Account / Redeem Code button that takes you straight there). Type or paste the code from your licence email into the box exactly as printed, then click Activate. Acon Digital converts your code into a licence key.

    TIPThis code is a one-time voucher, not the licence key itself — once redeemed it has done its job. If the page says the code is invalid, check for a stray space at either end before contacting Acon Digital support.

Install and unlock

    Download the full version

    From My Account you can download the product you just redeemed. Or open the Products page, click Go to product on yours, and use the Download button near the top of its page. Pick the installer for your computer — Mac or Windows — and save it somewhere you can find it.

    TIPThe installer is the same one everyone downloads for the free trial. That is expected — your licence key is what turns it into the full version.

    Run the installer

    Open the file you downloaded and follow the prompts. Say yes to what it suggests — the standard choices are right for almost everyone. Acoustica installs as a program of its own; plug-ins such as Restoration Suite install into the folders your music program scans.

    TIPIf a plug-in installer asks which formats you want, keep the ones already ticked. Add AAX if you use Pro Tools.

    The installer finished. The product is on your computer, running as a trial until the next step.

    Open the product and enter your licence key

    Start Acoustica from your Applications or Start menu, or open the plug-in inside the music program you use — Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Cubase, Reaper, any of them. It will offer to continue the trial or enter a licence key. Copy the licence key from My Account → My Products on acondigital.com and paste it there — the licence key, not the code from your licence email.

    TIPBought a suite? Enter the same suite licence key in each of its plug-ins.

    CHECKPOINT

    No trial notice when the product opens. You are done.

Upgrades (for example Acoustica Standard to Premium, or Restoration Suite 1 to 2): redeem the upgrade code the same way; the new licence key appears in My Products. Acon Digital's upgrade terms assume you own the product you are upgrading from, so redeem it in the same Acon Digital account that holds the original licence. Acoustica is sold in editions — Standard, Premium and Ultimate for version 8 (older orders may say Post Production Suite for 7.x) — and each edition is one installer; the licence key decides which edition unlocks. Suites such as Restoration Suite contain several plug-ins (DeNoise, DeHum, DeClick, DeClip): install each plug-in you want to use and enter the same suite licence key.

If something goes wrong

My code is not accepted

Codes are entered exactly as sent — paste rather than retype, and keep or drop dashes exactly as the steps say. Still stuck? Contact us with your order number and we will sort it, usually the same day.

The plug-in does not show up in my music program

Check you installed the format your program uses and rescan its plug-in folders. The Acon Digital help pages cover each program's scan settings.

I bought this but have no email

Check spam first — licence emails arrive within minutes of payment. Nothing there? Contact us and we will resend it.

I bought several products

Each product has its own installer, and codes only unlock the product they were issued for — work down your order one at a time.
